Installation
The topper ships with the set screw at maximum relief. To attach to your pedal, place the topper on the footswitch of your pedal and step on the topper to insure the footswitch is fully inserted into the topper and engages the pedal. If the footswitch does not engage the pedal, raise the topper slightly and tighten set screw. Test again to ensure the pedal engages. Use included 1/8” allen wrench, or your own 1/8” allen wrench, to tighten the set screw to the footswitch.
Note: Make sure when you are loosening the screw to not use force to loosen it. The topper is made so the set screw is always inside the topper. If you try to muscle it out (thinking it will come out) it will damage the wood. You can get the screw out by tightening it forward. It will come out from the inside. If u do that, you can get it back in through the inside.
Care
To clean your topper, clean with guitar cleaner.
